Mortgage Brokers Pre-License Course: $249

This course is a requirement for licensure in Florida as a Mortgage Broker under Chapter 494, Florida Statutes.  The course consists in part of the fundamentals of mortgage lending, mortgage lending laws, loan types and other related topics like underwriting, loan qualification, math applications, and the Secondary mortgage market to name a few, and it is designed for successful state exam completion.

The Mortgage Broker state exam consists of 100 multiple-choice questions.  Passing score is 75%.  In order “to sit for” or take the state exam, an applicant must submit a completed license application to the state.  State exams are offered once a month at several locations throughout the state.

This course is the initial step into the mortgage brokerage industry.  Teaching the fundamentals of the mortgage brokerage business and their application, the course is an overview and drill of the material needed for successful mastery of the state licensing exam.  The mortgage brokers course consists of 24 instructional hours and includes all instructional materials.
